Edu4Standards is a Horizon Europe project aiming at enhancing EU competitiveness and support its New Industrial Strategy and Green Deal by improving standards education. The project addresses the insufficient number of EU standardisation experts and fragmented teaching on standardisation across education levels. It will develop an Innovative Teaching Concept on Standardisation (ITCoS), run pilots with teaching modules, and establish an EU Roadmap for Standardisation on Education. The project seeks to facilitate standards education in over 100 High Education Institutions and contribute to training 5,000 new standards experts annually by 2027.
SBS will leverage the project’s knowledge and outputs to train SME experts and enhance its efforts in raising awareness and building the capacity of SMEs and their associations to get actively involved in standardisation.
