Call for tender – Representation of ICT and lift SMEs in the European standardisation process

Small Business Standards (SBS) aims at representing small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the standardisation process, motivate them to get involved and raise their awareness about standardisation.  In this framework, SBS is launching two calls for tender to select two entities to represent and defend the interests of SMEs in standardisation and relevant European Commission Expert and Working Groups in the areas of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) and lifts.

SMEs at the heart of the future European Standardisation Strategy

Brussels, 10 August 2021 – In May, the European Commission announced the publication of a new Standardization Strategy in support of EU’s strategic autonomy and fundamental policy objectives for the third quarter of 2021. Small Business Standards (SBS), the association representing European Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) in standardisation, yesterday published a position paper highlighting the main points to be considered to ensure the future strategy meets SME needs.
