SMALL BUSINESS STANDARDS IS THE SOLE ORGANISATION REPRESENTING
EUROPEAN SMES IN THE STANDARDISATION PROCESS
SBS membership allows members to:
1. be heard
As a member, you will help to shape SBS’ positions. SBS will hear and voice your views to EU decision-makers and the European and international standardisation organisations: CEN, CENELEC, ETSI, ISO and IEC. You can also contribute directly to establishing, changing or blocking the development of standards.
2. have more weight
As a member, you will have access to the technical knowledge of some of SBS’ 60 experts representing SMEs’ position in strategic standardisation bodies. You will be given the opportunity to sharpen your skills by attending all of SBS’ seminars and events free of charge, as well as chances to meet new people and expand your network.
3. stay informed and engage with standardised and other influencers
As your watchdog, SBS will keep you informed about the latest political and technical developments. Not only will this allow you to identify new business opportunities, it will also help you to anticipate new constraints.
4. be visible
As a member, you will gain visibility through SBS’ multiple communication channels vis-à-vis other SMEs and the wider standardisation community.
