SMEs, Standards, and the Cybersecurity Act: A new Cybersecurity Certification Framework for Europe
23 October 2019
Rue Joseph II 20, 1000 Brussels
The “SBS Forum on ICT standards for SMEs” is a European platform for discussion and sharing of information about ongoing ICT standardisation activities that are relevant to SMEs. The main target audience of the forum are SMEs from across the EU and EFTA member states, as well as associations representing SME interests.
How can standardisation in cybersecurity benefit smaller businesses in the ICT sector? How will the new cybersecurity framework benefit the ICT industry and what are the pitfalls that need to be avoided? This year’s event will focus on cybersecurity, and more specifically, the EU Cybersecurity Act. We will discuss the crossroads of standards, cybersecurity and SMEs to ensure that there are no obstacles in the way of European digital companies to take full advantage of this new certification framework. To clear away your doubts we will be bringing together standardisation experts, regulators, cybersecurity experts and SMEs in an environment of productive dialogue.
