In the context of Germany’s G7 presidency,  the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action is organising a conference on 7 September (12:00-15:30) entitled “Standardisation – a strategic instrument for climate action and the global digital energy transition”. The conference will be organised in an hybrid format and aims at boosting the discussion on the role of standardisation in mitigating climate change, protecting the environment and facilitating a digitally enabled energy transition.

The programme also foresees a specific session on “Fostering SME participation in and education on standardisation”.
