On 2 February 2022, the European Commission published the European Standardisation Strategy. The strategy was accompanied by a targeted amendment to the Regulation 1025/2012 on European Standardisation.

The 2022 edition of the EU Industry Days entitled “Unlocking the future: EU industrial ecosystems on the path to the green and digital transition” will take place from 8 to 11 February 2022.

At the end of 2020, SBS launched a study to identify the key areas of standardisation for European SMEs in the coming years. The aim of the study was to identify strategically important standardisation areas for SMEs.
